For those of you that have been wondering why the quirky newsletters from Jonathan have ceased to appear in your inbox. I have multiple excuses, but those are subjects for upcoming newsletters.

Some of y’all coming back for the holidays may be shocked that The Circus is no longer under the Big Top on Betsy Kerrison. We successfully made the move to 5018 Kiawah River Drive in the Spring. Our new location is somewhat hidden on Betsy Kerrison and Kiawah River Dr. We apologize for not having any signage, but that is Charleston County’s decision.

The Farm is looking fantastic considering the lack of rain and the heat of the summer. Sidi has an incredible variety of squash and beans being harvested now. His broccoli, onions, carrots, peas, tomatoes, lettuce and greens are beautiful once again. The Man can really do it. Come check it out.

This week, The Kitchen has Sidi’s Vegetable Minestrone, Kat’s Butternut Squash and Apple Bisque, the ever popular Italian Chicken and Stellini Soup with grated Parmesan. The list goes on, Crab and Corn Soup, Yukon Gold Potato Bisque and Turtle Bean Soup with Smoked Ham Hocks.

Kat put together a vegetarian Roasted Red Pepper Pasta with Feta and for the carnivores we made Ropa Vieja (Braised Flank Steak Cuban Style over Black Beans and Rice with Sautéed Peppers). The Ropa Vieja is available refrigerated and Frozen along with our Green Chile Chicken Enchiladas.

The 2 G’s are baking away with Sidi’s beautiful Candy Roaster Pumpkins and North Carolina Apples, the Pumpkin Bread is at the top of my list.

Our Thanksgiving offerings are listed below, we hope it makes y’all’s Thanksgiving not as difficult!

Hope to see you soon.
Jonathan
